Dr. Pepper

I've been posting mostly personal work as of late. I figured I should share some professional stuff before people think I'm an unemployed potato.

Back in October my team at work and I were involved in a pitch to Dr. Pepper. This required us to come up with some new ideas for branding and visual cues. We decided to work with the 23 mystery flavors in Dr. Pepper and the uniqueness of the soft drink. The image you see above is a collaboration between myself and Laz Marquez. He is responsible for some of the tongues and the awesome little Dr. Pepper dude. We also threw in some pencil drawings by James Jean in the background to add some depth. We did a little photoshop tennis back and forth and I finished it off, giving you what you see above. This was a center piece of sorts, a kind of jumping off point for the whole look and feel. Below, are some concepts for billboards. Here I wanted to convey the idea of breaking the mold, that by drinking Dr. Pepper, you're not following what is the norm and exploding into a new and more exciting world of flavor.
Some of the elements may be a little rough, but keep in mind this was spec work.

The text says "Do you dare? Taste 23"
